Strategic Plan

We all know that DPDC needs a strategic plan to be successful.

Day 1 we will start work on building our strategic plan. This will include surveys, town halls and planning meetings with all stakeholders.

The planning meetings will be run by professionals who can help us realize our vision of being an empowered, unified and active organization.

The strategic plan will layout our structure, short-term and long-term goals.

We will also identify the playbooks we need to create and a timeline for those playbooks (see below).

By 5/1, the goal is to have the entire new structure in place and already be working on short-term and long-term goals.

In addition, while we work on the Strategic Plan, we will still be working on the 2019 Election and the Gala.

There’s a lot to do, and we will get it done together.

PLAYBOOKS

We will be creating playbooks in order to share information and increase efficiencies. These playbooks are guides to be used, not rules that must be followed. Our playbooks will be living documents and kept up to date to ensure everyone benefits from what we learn.

We will be creating playbooks for candidates. One playbook for each position and district, e.g. State Rep 45, County Board 6, US Rep 6.

We will be creating playbooks around petitions. One playbook for each election type.

We will be creating playbooks around GOTV. One playbook for each election type.

We will be creating playbooks for Townships.

We will be creating playbooks for PCs, Volunteers, and Members.

***We will be identifying additional playbooks during the creation of our strategic plan.
